This will most likely be the last post from the great Josey of the Paper Plate Podcast Perspiration Crew. It is nearing the end of the year and our podcast will be taking a break throughout the summer, but it may come to birth in the next school year, but lets not get sappy and all. I thought this experiencing was fun overall and I would love to podcast again. Whether alone or with a couple buddies. We grew together and I feel like I knew everyone a little bit better. I learned to edit a little and I learned to not procrastinate because this whole year, we procrastinated uploading any of our podcasts until now, and the burden was all on me. If I were to improve our overall podcasting experience, obviously, I would like to upload our podcasts daily and go back and listen to each of them and figure out what we can do to make it better. As well, I wish I was a better editor so I could edit out the bad stuff and add some bleeps. Just for safety. Additionally, after listening to some of our published podcasts now, I would like to have a better mic so the audio quality is better and thats all folks. I will be back later, maybe.

Today, we spoke at a "Ted Talk" about our genius hour projects and specific aspects about it. Specifically, we talked about our beginning idea, end product, accomplishments, epic fails, audience, progress, reflection, and blogs/streaming sites. Since there were four members in total, we decided to split up these slides with us four, so for each member, they had to complete two sides. Personally, I spoke the podcasts beginning idea and blog/streaming sites.

Well, I dont know about this one folks. To put it blatantly, this podcast was not very good and we did very little to try and entertain the folks at home. As well, we did UNSPEAKABLE THINGS, so this podcast may be put in a bloopers reel or something of the sorts. Specifically, we acquired our yearbooks today, so we decided to go through it and basically we clowned people in the yearbook, which obviously is not very nice, but it was all in fun manner. Additionally, we did not appreciate most of the yearbooks format and the pictures that we taken. We did this for most of the podcast, so most of our audience would have no idea what we are talking about since they can't see our yearbook. I'm sorry. This one was a failure.
Lucky for me, I was granted a pizza party with by best buds Dylan Mans and Anderson Prater (former podcast guests) for helping out with reading probes. So, my podcast progress was exempt from this podcast for the first ten minutes until I was filled up. Afterwards, I proceeded to go into our normal podcast room and stayed there respectively for the last twenty minutes of the podcast. This podcast seemed more entertaining and communicative than our last one because we talked constantly and were laughing. I judge podcasts by how much we can talk without any awkward pauses and if we are having fun. So by this law, I judge thee podcast as successful. Specifically, we talked about missing going to state at track, the new Mortal Kombat game, and dog pooping stories. It a blast. We swore a bit and so did I, im sorry.
Throughout the year, we have had a goal of completing a podcast each week and uploading it. So far... it has gone alright. Our podcast making skills have been top notch and I believe we have made a total of around ten podcasts. Even though, there is many more weeks during the school year, it is hard to create one each week because there is many interruptions throughout the school year and sometimes we do not have school on Friday, our typical podcasting day. So, for our new goals, we need to upload and edit. Obviously, we have an expert editing member on the team, but he has been caught up with work and has yet to upload a podcast so we need to hop on that. Another goal is that we need to find a publishing website to upload to whether it is Spotify, YouTube, Soundcloud, etc, but we need to find one as well. So far, our long goal term of creating podcasts is well, we just need to send them out on their way and find the audience. We may need to advertise our podcast as well... probably.
This podcast was not as good as usual. Most times when we start podcasting, we get hyped and are ready for the podcast. This day was no different, but the podcast itself was not the usual where we have fun and talk about many topics. This time, we could not think of topics to talk about or hold a decent conversation for very long. It may have been because we did not have a special guest, but on earlier podcasts, we have not had guests and it has worked well. Now, we may need to start preparing beforehand to talk about cool, epic things because we have gotten to the point where we can not come up with talks on point and have a decent conversation. I believe this podcast will be scrapped.
No school today which means there is no podcast. Wah wah wah wah.
Library was KIA, so we sat around in Mrs. Banderson's and doodled. In all honesty, we played bitmoji games for thirty minutes and now I am here writing about this sick cool neato blog. Listen fellas, not every blog is going to be FUN to read and not every Friday will be productive because the schools plans and our plans conflict sometimes. As well, I am a very busy boy sooooooooooo yeah. This blog is just kind of a cop out, but hey, at least i'm honest.
Well, there is nothing new, but the fact we recorded another hid podcast! It's hard to blog about a project that progressively does the same thing over and over and there has yet to be many changes or fun facts. We still have yet to upload a podcast....... We definitely should, but for this podcast, we had the original cast all together + Isaiah Brindamour, a special guest. We talked about movies, what happened in our weeks, Kyle's failure of a Job, what his plans are for the future, and random beat-boxing as always. Personally, I have been listening to podcasts on the off hand more often like SuperMegaCast. I have mentioned it earlier, but I strongly suggest it and listen to it on the daily. It helps give me some entertainment and an understanding about how to podcast and how to entertain the audience. Also, I know that Brock has been watching them too, but this is it for now. ADIOS!
YES! I DID IT! I HAD A SUCCESSFUL AND FUN PODCAST AT THE SAME TIME. It was quite the experience. At first, we started out with three special guests; Cedric LaFave, Aaron Mulder, and Dylan Skinner-Mans, which is already quite a high amount of people to start with. 7 people in total were talking in a very compact room and we began by talking about our guests week and what they did. It started out pretty normal, everyone was goofing around and then, 2 more guests joined our podcast; Anderson Prater and Quentin Matrious. It was a blast, honestly and we talked about movies most of the time and joked around. Our guests couldn't stay for the whole podcast sadly, and most of them had to leave for lunch. Eventually, it was just the four of us again and we still talked about movies, video games, and other weird stuff. It was fun and lasted around 36 minutes, A NORMAL PODCAST TIME SPAN, kinda.
